Preventing Frozen water lines

keep your home heated to atleast 55 degrees, insulate exposed pipes in unheated areas with foam sleeves or heat tape, let a slow drip from faucets, and open cabinet doors to circulate warm air. For outdoor spigots, disconnect hoses, drain them, and cover them.
